With almost 100 bonfires floating on the river which magically transforms the three rivers of downtown Providence,
WaterFire is an iconic art installation in the city of Providence. It consists of approximately 80 bonfires that float on the three rivers that flow through downtown Providence. The fires are lit at dusk and burn until midnight, creating a magical and ethereal ambiance in the city. WaterFire has become a must-see event for both locals and visitors and has helped to transform Providence into a vibrant and thriving cultural destination.
